It all began in Schenectady, NY in November 1937. I was named Carmen after my grandfather Carmen DeNovio. My middle name James is from my maternal grandfather James Casino. I attended St Columbas School thru 9th grade and completed High School at Mt Pleasant. I loved Basebal and the Brooklyn dodgers. My boyhood friends were Mickey Ferrara, Joe & John Coppola, Lou DeMarco, Ken Bender and Joe Frank. My favorite food was Pizza at Johnie DeMarco's.

Joined the Air Force in 1955

I completed Electronics School in Mississippi. I had many wonderfull times in the South most particular the Mardi Gras in New Orleans. My final assignment was at Mitchel Field in LI NY. There I met my wife Angela Messina from westbury NY who inspired me to finish my degree from CW Post college where I graduated with a BS in Management cum laude.

Within the first 4 years we had two daughters Deborah and Elizabeth and one Son Anthony. We settled in Commack LI NY and have been there ever since. In 1993 I retired from AIL Systems after 32 years service most as an Operations manager. I now have 5 Grandchildren. I enjoy playing Golf everyday I can and Bowling in the winter evenings. I root for the Mets Jets and Rangers.
